REBNY, the Real Estate Board of New York, is a real estate trade association composed of over 12,000 members who represent the top real estate firms in Brooklyn and Manhattan, as well as professionals from all sub-disciplines of the real estate market. These include landlords, developers, attorneys and brokers, among many others. REBNY is New York’s oldest and finest real estate organization, dating back to 1896 and consistently providing the highest quality service to its members and to the community at large.

REBNY is composed of six divisions, each of which addresses a specific field of real estate matters. The Residential Brokerage Division, which is responsible for overseeing the selling and leasing of residential properties, is made up of 15 committees, including the Brooklyn Committee. The Brooklyn Committee aims to “provide an open forum where members can promote and foster better working relationships” and “to educate members and the general public regarding professional practices, new trends and developments in the Brooklyn marketplace.”
